Dr. Ling graduated with High Honors, and Distinctions in both Dental Education and Dental Research from the University Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry.

Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Ling did a 2 year General Practice Residency in General Dentistry at the UT School of Dentistry and Memorial Hermann Hospital.

Chief Resident
An avid learner, he elected for the optional 2nd year as Chief Resident in order to obtain greater mastery of General Dentistry. Chief residents help oversee and assist the education of 1st year residents at the University Dental Center.

Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry
Upon completion of residency, Dr. Ling would continue his pursuit of continuing education and obtain Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction that only 6% of all general dentists hold.

Distinction in Dental Implants
Demonstrating his pursuit of excellence in dental implants, Dr. Ling was inducted as a Fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists - the largest organization in the world dedicated to the advancement of dental implantology.

Carrying on the Legacy of West Road Dental
As of June 2024, Dr. Ling has been selected by Dr. Lepow as the next owner of West Road Dental. Dr. Ling - along with Drs. Cavazos and Dr. Lepow - look forward to continuing the 40+ year tradition of "treat people, not patients" dental care that has been the hallmark of West Road!
